Creation

God created everything supernaturally from nothing (Ex nihilo) over a period of six literal days, as written, and that the earth is "old" on the order of about six to ten thousand, not millions or billions of years. Each "kind" is distinct and was fully, perfectly, correctly functional at the time of Creation. Man is at the pinnacle of Creation, a created bearing in the image of God (His attributes such as intellect, emotions, will, not physically) and is to be the steward over all of Creation. Man did not descend from any ape-like creatures. We believe kind begets kind always, with an impenetrable natural barrier. Life begets life, as in the Law of Biogenesis, and nothing else can or ever will beget or create life. We believe the fossil record is (as was believed throughout all of history by believers, until only recently) the result of the Flood of Noah, as described in Genesis 6, and not from evolution over millions of years. Lastly, we reject evolutionism as a false religion invented to replace the Genesis records in chapters 1-6, as predicted in 2 Peter 3:3-4.
